Females (members or spouses) can enjoy membership in the Stonycroft Women's Golf Association
There are weekly events and prizes on Thursday mornings from the first Thursday in
May through the last Thursday in September.

An established USGA handicap is not required for WGA membership or for
participation in weekly events, but is required to be eligible for weekly prizes. An
established USGA handicap is required for participation in WGA-sponsored
tournaments. Handicaps are subject to a 90% limitation for certain tournaments.
Players are assigned to flights for competition based on handicaps, and will compete
within the flight assigned, except in the case of selected tournaments and team events.Women golfers (both members or spouses) can enjoy membership in the Stonycroft Hills Club Women's Golf Association (WGA).  There are weekly events and prizes on Thursdays from the first Thursday in May through the last Thursday in September.  Additional tee times are available on Thursday evenings to accommodate players who cannot make traditional morning tee times.

Local Rules

A limit of 10 strokes per hole. Upon reaching ten strokes, a player must pick up her ball and record a score of 10 for that hole. A limit of two attempts to hit over any water hazard. After two failed attempts, a player must pick up her ball; drop it on the other side of the hazard, adding the appropriate penalty strokes to her score.  Individual scores from all WGA events (weekly and tournament) will be collected and posted by designated persons.  Thursday scores should not be posted by the players themselves. However, individuals must post all scores for any and all other rounds of golf that they play, per USGA guidelines.
